Frustrated, Stressed, And Burned Out Trying To Make Extra Money Online

Getting frustrated, stressed, and burned out happens to over 90 % of people who are earning a living, whether it is online or offline. The thing is, we must continue on if we plan to continue feeding our families.

Normally the number 1 thing that leads to online burnout is stress and frustration, especially for beginners.A person really don't know how hard online work can be until they have spent countless hours in front of the computer writing article after article, and after 2 months have not made one thin dime. Not only that, they have a total of 20 views. That my friend, is frustrating. They figure if they just write a few lines and publish it to the search engines magic will suddenly happen.Several years ago this may have been true, but not in 2013. It takes work... work... work.

So, what do you do when this happens. Majority of people give up because they figure it's a waste of time. They have heard and read all the success stories of how people have quit their 9 to 5 job to earn a living online and figure why not them, and I see their point.

The thing is that a lot of the success stories you heard about online are not real. It is basically a sale tactic to get beginners like yourself to buy some sort of software from them that guarantee that you will get massive traffic and make money overnight. It just doesn't work that way.

If you want to succeed online, you must learn how to write good content and PROMOTE that content.Just having good content is nothing unless you have an audience to see your work. Not only do you have to write good content, you must learn SEO (SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION) in order to get that free traffic from Google, Yahoo, and Bing. No traffic means no money.

So, if you have a product or some good content to offer, I would read a lot about how online works before diving into it. You don't have to buy your way to making money online, because there is enough information out there that teaches you free.

Not only read a lot about it, go to Youtube and look at some video concerning getting traffic and making money online.

2createawebsite.com is a great place to start. Lisa Irby, who owns the site, is the most trusted person a beginner could learn from. Go to her website and also check out her videos and I promise you will learn a lot.

Good luck to all beginners and please subscribe to my blog to receive more posts.

Avoiding Plagiarism Content

Avoiding plagiarism and producing original content is vital to a long lasting blog or website. One of the most damaging thing that could happen to an online writer is to copy someone work as your own and get punished by search engines.

For those who don't know what plagiarism is I will share with you. If you are writing an article and decide to use someone else quotes or take parts of someone else ideas and pass it along as your own work without giving credit or references to the original source, you are committing plagiarism. You find a lot of this  happening with college students

The problem most website owners have is that they don't even realize they are doing it,especially beginners. They figure quoting someone or maybe using  phrases written or spoken by someone else is harmless.Even though it may seem to be harmless it could hurt the writers website.

I say this because Google may see this as duplicate content and because Google now use page rank in their indexing, your site could be on page 20 of the search results before even getting a chance, simply because of using someone else work without sending a link back to the original source.

Giving a link back to the original source could be a great way of establishing relationships with others in your niche. If a few high quality websites owners see traffic coming from a link within your site and they visit your site and like it, you could benefit greatly from this. All you need is for your site to be mentioned on their high traffic website.

So for all the newbie writers, try to avoid plagiarism and write with your own personality. Just paraphrasing someone or spinning someone else work just doesn't work. If you like what someone else has written, don't be a reporter and state their facts. Put you own style of writing into it and make it your own to avoid getting penalized before you even get indexed.

Making Money Online Versus Making Money Offline

How do you approach making money online vs making money offline? If you are honest with yourself, most of you would answer that you treat them very different.

Now, when it comes to offline work like a 9-5 job, just how dedicated are you to that job? Is it 20%..60%..90%..or 100% dedicated. It really doesn't matter what line of work you're involved in, we can all agree that it's how we pay our bills, eat, and have a roof over our head.

In order to be successful at paying our monthly bills, getting up out of the bed on Monday morning when you absolutely don't feel like it becomes necessary, because if you don't show up for work it's possible you may not have a job come Tuesday morning. Now that doesn't mean that the bills will stop coming, but what it does mean is you better find another mean of income.

It is no difference trying to earn a living online. Having that same mental approach of dedication and getting out of that bed on Monday morning to get a project done or doing research for 10 hours for your next article becomes ingredients to your online success.

The problem most online publishers have is procrastination. Loving to put things off until the next day can get you in a world of trouble whether online or offline. People who read and bookmark your website expect fresh content on a regular whether that is daily or weekly, and if you don't provide that for them they will easily move to another website which can spell disaster for a website, because without visitors you can't make any money.

So, if you're a person who are achieving great things in the offline world and want to give earning a living online a shot, just remember it will take that same dedication, hard work, and building trust to achieve your goals.

My Google Content Experiments.Should Google Let Users Decide Which Website Offers The Best Content?

Last week, I decided to do an experiment to see if Googles really offers the best content in the search results.I gathered 10 family members that loves to Google everything. I wanted to see from a users experience whether or not google search engine first page results answered their problems.

Now, while doing this experiment, I didn't let anyone know exactly what it was I was doing until afterwards, because I wanted them to be actual users. As it turns out, most of them found what they were looking for on page 7-10 in the results. Very few found it on the first page, and if they did find good content , it wasn't relevant for the situation. How many of you have this experience?

For the past couple days, I have been doing a lot of high traffic search terms, and I found something interesting. Most content that is on the first page for these search terms are about 5-8 years old. Now this doesn't mean that the content wasn't good. In fact the articles were great, but most of the information is outdated. The updated articles that could have really helped were on page 7 and up in the search results. That to me is a problem. Not only is that a problem for me as a user, but if you're a publisher and write great content that is beneficial, but your articles never get seen because you can't compete with articles that are 5-8 years old and still on the first page of Google.

So what can Google do about this? They have a great system in place with their algorithm that allows them to weave out useless content. With their own formula in place, I think hinders a lot of great information from being seen.

I would suggest to Google to have a rotation from page 1-10 and see how the user interact with websites on different pages  and compare it with others.By placing sites from different pages and placing them on page 1 for a week for good search terms can give Google a better feel for what is the best content for users, instead of having the same results for 10 years still at number one. Now all publishers have to do is try and make it to the top 5-10 page results to earn traffic and get credibility.

When you read most articles, they will tell you "Content Is King", and I agree. However, if you can't get to page 1-2 on Google your site won't reach it's full potential. Now for the sake of argument, I know there are different ways to build traffic with Google, but lets face it, if you're on the first page of Google for a good keyword, you can get a lot of traffic.

What is your take on this article? Should Google remain the same in the area of search results, or should they mix it up weekly to find which article is better for their users? Let me know what you think in the comments!

Why Choose Yahoo Search Engine Instead Of Just Google For Website Traffic

When it comes to Traffic to a website, the search engine most publishers go after is Google Traffic. While I can't say I blame them, I think overlooking Yahoo Search Engine for traffic is a big mistake.

Yahoo is the second largest search engine and it can provide huge amounts of traffic. Matter of fact, Yahoo topped Google for web traffic in the month of July. Now that's a huge deal because Google has been at the top spot since 2011.

The reason Google is so well liked by many publishers, including myself, is that they have great tools to help accomplish getting ranked well in their search results.

Three weeks ago I started noticing Yahoo sending more Traffic than Google and that had never happened before.Seem like each day while looking in my Google Analytic, Yahoo Organic Traffic was on the rise. I was getting good rankings for keywords that Google didn't rank me well for.

Yahoo has return and is starting to play a bigger role in web search. If a person learn how they can dominate these two search engines instead of just Google, the sky will be the limit.

So the question is, have you really tried to get at the top of the search result page in Yahoo like you do in Google? Are you getting a lot of Yahoo Traffic? Leave a comment and let me know if you have seen a rise in traffic.

Have You Performed A Web Page Speed Test On Your Website?

One of the most overlooked aspects when it come to traffic to a website is the speed of the site. When it comes to SEO, we as publishers focus mainly on keywords and content.

Now even though these are the most crucial part of the website, making sure your page is loading quickly can be the difference in placement, especially now that mobile phones are playing a big factor in search engine traffic.

Matt Cutts from Google made a video saying that page speed most times dictate if you are in the 10th spot or 8th spot in the results. So if it seem that you can't get out of that 10th spot you're, check the speed of your website.

A great way to analyze your speed is by looking at the score card in your Google Adsense account. Even though it's from the previous day, it gives you something to improve on for that day.

Another method to analyze your performance is through Google Analytics. This is a very powerful tool because it gives you a lot of information about how your visitors are interacting with your site. I'm always keeping an eye out for bounce rates in my reports because that could be another reason why a website is not moving up in the results.

If you have any kind of Google account, whether it be gmail, blogger, or adsense, you can sign into Google Analytics with the same username and password.

If it shows you have poor website speed, you no doubt want to perform a test on your site.Click the link below to analyze each page on your site.

Google Search Engine Traffic Is The Secret To Making Money Online

Are you getting Google Search Engine Traffic to your website? Are there really making money online secrets ? Nowadays, everyone that starts out trying to make extra money online believes that there is some magic to it.Spending countless hours reading different articles on SECRET TRICKS used to make money and end of spending their money on products sold to get these secrets in order to make money.

Out of all the money that is made online, about 80% of it is made by ONLY 20% of the internet marketers. Now that is a low percentage, which means there are a lot of marketers out there struggling trying to come up with ways of how to earn money. Now the 20 % is making a killing off the people that are struggling by selling their "SECRETS" to them. Before you purchase another product from someone about their secrets, let me just give you the real secret. GOOGLE TRAFFIC AND RESEARCH! There is no other secret.

There are always questions to be answered. People who are searching the web are normally looking for solutions to problem. This is what divide money makers from the rest. So, how can you become part of the solution. It's easy, first find out the problem.

The reason most beginners fail when it comes to making money online is that with no strategy or planning, their website is doomed before they even get their feet planted good.If you want your site to take off you MUST spend some time on research because it's the only way to solving the RIGHT problems.

Let me give you an example: Let's say you have a website about Dogs. You might have written 20 great articles on this particular subject but nobody is visiting your site. Why is that? It's because not a lot of people are searching for the keyword(s) you're using in your articles, or the competition is too high.If it's not search for a lot or because of the competition you end up on page 10 in the Google results, you won't get any traffic regardless how great the content is.

You take the same subject on dogs and go to "Google Keyword Tool" and research just what problems people having." How to make a dog sit" may only get searched for 50 times a month in Google so it would be useless to write on that because you would not generate any traffic."How to stop a dog from barking" may get searched 5,000 times a month and the competition is low. This will be an article to write on because you would have a great chance of ranking well for this keyword phrase and get a good supply of traffic from it.

Now with the traffic, you can sell them affiliate products pertaining to their search. Amazon has an affiliate program that you can sign up for and place their products on your website and earn commissions. Not only are you helping your visitor, but you're getting commission for it.

So, in conclusion the secret to making money online is finding the problem by doing research and getting a good supply of traffic, then help solve their problem with information or products.
